  I just googled it too, much more majestic than the answer to Quizzy !

   When I say over a thousand  years ols , some examples are actually between a thousand and two thousand years old and you may have to look overseas to find them.

The only thing I can think of apart from trees is coral, but I can't see it being that, I've dived around coral and it's anything but ugly Undecided

Well I've walked around the base of Uluru at sunrise and that ain't ugly, so I'd better start looking elsewhere. Perhaps South America.

I'm learning a lot about biological immortality but I'm not finding much in the way of answers. I've discounted the Atacama Desert as the arid area, it seems quite lifeless.
