Sk Lawson![]() Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 20:20 on 23rd January 2013 Ron, my "secret" is the abilty to take small mediational naps of an sort...most "indgo" kids do...as if it's something in their "make up". I don't have an "set" bedtime...but rather take occasional deep sleeps at every so many hours. One reason I'm not good at waking up early early in the morning...one of my better sleeping times is 3 am to about 8 am...and then in the afternoon a couple of hours and sometimes if I'm tired in the evening. I often work or read or get caught up in writing or the computer...from 9/10 pm to around midnight...if I'm not listening to the talk radio show..."coasttocoast am" Even as an small kid my mother was always hollering at me to "get to bed" for school in the morning. I do my grocery shopping almost always in the early afternoons also. I'm about done with the book now...photoagrapher has fallen in love with the nun, in an kind of way...she's dealing with that...as she's older now you know...neither are youngesters, and neither have sex in thier lives...they want "companionship" though, someone they can turn to at times...but she's not wanting to give up her "vows" quite yet..prays for God's guidance in the manner.. Sarah and Seth lost everything, and he's facing trial soon, she moved out and he moved out into separate living quarters...him an apartment and her an victorian house, she's looking for an job to support her kids with. The lawyer fee's alone to represent him and he was caught doing all the wrong things out right...is 3 million dollars, his bail 10 million dollars...if he's lucky they might find an way to plea bargain his case and get off for five to two years, but it's looking more like 30 years in prison right now. The singer went on an sucessful concert tour, hurt her foot, and is laid up, she and her mother are having contolling issues about her life...she just booked the next couple of months off headed by herselt into an Mexican Monestary helping young teenagers get thier lives straightened out...and said in short "Bye mom..see ya later"! her mother had been living her life through her daughter and of course her sucess also...she has kept with the nice boyfriend...the engineer college student from Berkely. Not to much said about the earthquake..most those that could leave have, the rest have no place to go...will probably be there for possibly up to an year more before they find housing for them. they have phones and electricty now...it's been almost two weeks on that one. Clean up doing all over in the city now also. About 100 pages an I'm done. Watched Prince Harry on TV last night...he so much reminds me of what my youngest grandson will probably look like when he's his age, and sounds a lot alike also, I tend to want to hug him, as he's the youngest and he struggles with issues of that also...wishing Harry our best, and even in in an danger zone, hope he's safe and protected also. Watched "the taste" with pretty Nigella Lawson, Anthoney Bordain and two other restruant owners...one called Marlarky and the other they said owned five Restruants called Ludo for an last name. Last night was the audditions for their show in cooking... I take each one of them picked people out for an competiton episode. Other then that...the "ice" in freezing rain.. so far hasn't come our way that they predicted today..this morning...will be glad to get back to just plain rain showers though...we are about 2 inches so far for the month under normal. Trying to decide if it's going to be meat loaf or spaghetti for dinner tonight. Book, I've went through what Goodl is, where its found, history of people that have dealth with it ...and an slowly moving into the Renniesance period, so I can get into Eurpoean Royal lines and the guilting of furniture with Gold...beforeI get into the South American and USA Gold era...and genealogies surrounding them. I could probably do all this real easy if I had Kate Middleton;s family around...heh? I do beleive though that if we can ever get our "Humpity dumpties" off the planet that there's all kinds of possiblities out in space for mineral mining..maybe "Gold" is out there also...since deposits are said here on earth to have come from incoming meteorites some 4 million years ago. It is iinteresting though that those having to their history also have an lot of violence associated around it. I guess it's the price to pay for wealth maybe? I go for now. Have an good day everyone! Grocery store sent us out coupons for free eggs, and 10 pounds of potatoes for 99 cents and split chicken breast 99 cents also...but in limited quanities of 2 packages/sacks...the eggs...one dozen. It helps though after Christmas...taxes are coming up you know by April...if they get it figured out by then in Washignton D. C. For the fact we didnt' want any taxes in the past era, it seems like all we get these days by every politican from here to Kokomo and back...as they say. I think those with incomes under $30,000 should not pay an red cent for any of them...out of sheer necessity to have something to live with yearly...thats on gross wages...not net wages. They claim it takes indiviual persons making $16,000 for the basic needs of life these days...nothing fancy or extravagant. Talk later on. |

( Ron...don't read the bottom of this post) .....finshed the book...1200 pages since January 1st....I'm taking an break now from reading...and it was spaghetti tonight and tossed in some "Marsla wine" in the sauce and some kind of specialty whole grain " thin" spaghetti with cheese melted on"Texas Garlic Toast" Goodnight everyone. |

I haven't been up at midnight for years; no, not even New Years. I hate not getting enough sleep. Maybe I should try Shirley's 'meditational naps'. |

But hey, fancy waking Rick up? I think the 'sleep when you feel like it' is a good idea Sue so sit back, think of England and the 'Lane'. Job done, sleep and relaxation in one! |

Sk Lawson![]() Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 23:06 on 24th January 2013 Yeah, I needed some extra sleep also..and an little time away from the writing and researching..I don't mind telling you I learn all kinds of stuff I didn't know doing the research work. I kind of took some time up laying on the sofa and watching HGTV...and then went to the store for more soup and fresh fruit for this next week. Getting from Seville, Spain into Mexcio and reading what there is there to offer, it's hard to think of the reason why those people are crossing our borders illegally...they have history, wonderful art work, top notch wineries, and an " climate" for resorts and worldwide visitor's. Drugs seemed to have ruined them it looks like. Kind of sad in ways...they have an lot to offer as an country. I don't want them taking my lifestyle away from me, but I don't want others taking thier uniquiness..in the world.. away from them either. Some of thier Gold mines they have opened up now to tour them. Not just Gold either, but silver they mine. Christmas "extra's" looked to be pretty well paid off now, and so is hubby's knee surgery...about time to start saving and for taxes now, the birthday's start rolling in also. I still have over $1,000 to save for my partical plate also...and I go without until I can do that...expense comes out of pocket on dental problems. There's painting and remodeling and getting rid of things that are some 35 years old now in the house here. Esp. kitchen counter, flooring, and the sinks and faucets and an few appliances. seems to never stop in some ways, but that's the involvment of being an home owner. Thenewspaper came out today with the recent EPA testing on Radon in the area...it's the second cause of Cancer deaths besides smoking. My area looks low risk, but not completely free of it perhaps. It seemingly hangs around the area of the Lake Missoula Floods during the ice age..when it deposited huge boulders of granite in the Columbia River and Willamette River area with uraninum..which breaks down making the Radon gas..they say we have twice the nation average here. I must say, thanks to my son's education, I had to help him with an report one time on our local gealogy and we set on an plain of " fill" from the "Boring HIlls Formation" not to far away...an line of blurpy volcano cones, but nothing significant in volcanic action...more like smudge pots.. way back when.. never amount to to much other then "hills" in the area. Maybe around the 500 foot level. Makes for rich and flat farmland though...so what they do, put 1,000's of houses on top of the fields they could be growing food on instead. Hubby has always commented on that..they should be building the houses in areas where things won't grow so much..and stop asphalting the good land with roads. See we need those in the air "spaceships" for travleing in so the roads can go back into decent land. I doubt I'll ever be around these days to ever see that happen. I guess I go for the day...salad and soup tonight. I'm thinking of Cream of wild rice soup with mushrooms... with an green salad with hard boiled eggs, procesitto ham, and green onions, chopped tomato's and shredded cheddar cheese....Finish off the blueberry topping over surgar-free lemon pound cake...but I have an hour to lay down in for right now so I am going to take it...have an good day everyone!. |
