Hi everyone!  Getting a quick look at POE, moved a whole lot of small stuff to the house today, came back and packed and packed and still not done - but nearly!! Then we had a humdinger of a thunderstorm, which hopefully has now passed and won't come back until Saturday!

One time I got called in to work and worked an night shift..it was an warm evening and had the laundry doors opened but the screens closed and some patient died....they called the coroner to come and get the body...he showed up looking more dead like then the patient. Liked to scared the jeebies out of me when he knocked on my doors asking where to pick up the body. Gesh! You wanna a bet I called the night RN to come an be with me back in that hallway by myself. I said to her that he looked more dead then the patient.... and she laughed...but agreed also. Spooky! I locked my sell in my laundry until daylight...just to be safe.

Yes, James, certainly have...have not seen one though for years on end. Use to have one around here somewhere. When I worked for the school...in High School at the closing of the year, they use to let me have an few outdated books if I wanted them. That was one of them I chose many years ago. I also would ask for history/Geography/business machine/secretary, science and one health book I think I have. I used them off on on even today, copying off maps and things for school projects with my son and grandkids and other kids over the years. James...my Sat's when I was an junior in High School said I was in the "over" upper 85 per cent of all kids across the entire usa.... in education..and abilty. Now many of the schools in our area don't even meet Federal guidelines in education.I think we had better teachers back then..... and better teacher/student rapport also.  I know we respected them more then the kids do today. But I think also that it's the way they handle them...I mean we had teachers that minced no words when it came to saying "Sit down and Shut UP"...if that's what had to be said...teachers now say nothing...they issue "pink slips" so many of them an your suspended for an day....you could be suspended an never really know what you did wrong....the communication isn't there. And suspended back then means you really DID something wrong...otherwise the teacher would say shut up and you knew he or she meant it....but it wasn't grounds to be suspended on necessarily. Even when Joan Moremance was caught open handed imtiating the teacher and the teacher walked in and she slpped her across the face, and told her to sit down...she still wasn't suspended...but my was it the talk of the school for an while. She was made to apologize at the next school auditorium meeting we all had...but it also changed the teacher an bit also. I think she stopped being so arrogant toward everyone. Now-a-days they don't do that...I mean its big stuff over little things. For many they can be "set up".... to ruin thier entire career from peer pressure alone...if two kids are vying for one position in the school...one sets up the other to get in an school fight with someone they have paid off to pick an fight,when the kid defends himself he gets automatically kicked out of school for fighting...they both do, but the pay off is the competition was elimnated for another person behind all of this. Teachers can't seem to figure this one out as yet. They should know that an kid not prone to fighting is being picked on for an reason. If you knew these things were going on you could understand why those kids that took the guns to kill the "peppies" at Combine HIgh School did what they did years back then. Next thing going was to rig up someone's computer if you wanted their job to make it look like they imbibe in looking at pornographic web sites...it was easier to fire them, then have an female employee wanting thier job holler sex discriminnation or job sexual harassment. That goes on also. Crappy world out there these days isn't it...where's the decency at any more? I'll tell you one thing...try living with an only son these days....I use to talk to  Mark's mother...he was an only son also...the same gal came to both our houses to say she was having sex with our sons. I said..what did you say to her?...she says...well if you wouldn't act like such an community whore my dear you wouldn't have stained panties sweetie...get your ass out off my property. Her father called me an wanted to talk to my son...and I said what for...he said to apologize for my daughter. I said it's an bit late...go stand in front of the whole school and apologize for her actions please...she's apparently done it to more then just my son. I guess she was looking for someone to get married?...or thought she'd be "popular"? Neither one of our boys went to the same school she did ....they were miles apart. I hope by now she's grown up some. She was 14 years old. I said ot my son... Do you know her"...kind of...she's out in front of the grade school sometimes when our bus goes by. How did she know you...she didn't... she knew one of Mark's nieghbors..and gal over there. She was always over there bugging them I guess.Well, she did one hell of an job on you reputation I guess you know...and her father is "sorry"?..he just said, Hey the whole school knows about her...they don't take it seriously what she said..I thought only people like Elvis Presely had these kinds of girl problems...not today mom. Remeber..I'm on the football team this year..that was probably good enough for an under aged grade school girl. I still watched him like an hawk going to High School and all through it. I don't want to raise kids any more...they have an generation out there that are all "street smart and street level" kids if they aren't "preppies" with parents to pay thier way.Our leaders at times seem to lead the way for them also in what not get get involved in. Clinton is but one of many many such people. Our Govenor now has an girlfriend...we never see him...hasn' t done an thing for our state so far, his only contribution as of late has seen him being wrapped up in litigation for seeing to it his "love' got lucritive deals to make money...but our jobless rate hasn't changed. That's why people are down there living like vigrants in dowtoen POrtland right now protesting...because they are trying to tell them he's getting them there..if he doesn't' change things. Does he care?...NO...he can't run for office again anyway.Why should he, it's grab what you can this time around and live in grand style there after..stay out of the limelight this time around.
