About Sutherland House

With historical features dating back to 1455, Sutherland House is believed to be one of the oldest buildings in Southwold. Decorated with a delicate blend of Victorian and Georgian furnishings, it has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a bar. The stylish, contemporary rooms at Sutherland House each have a TV, a DVD player and an private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. With an emphasis on fresh fish, the award-winning 2-AA rosette restaurant serves a delightful menu using locally-sourced ingredients. The hotel is just a short 10-minute stroll along the promenade from Southwold Pier. Adnams Brewery, famous for its cask ales is also just a 3-minute walk away.
