I am most impressed by the interest taken by members identifying the various places in the West country of which I visited many years ago and unfortunately forgotten where they were. I thank you all very much for helping me out with the names of the places and rekindling plenty of memories for me. I still have a few left which I will post with pleasure if this interest continues.

I also have quite a few pictures from English Heritage sites of which I failed to record. The negatives look as though they were only taken last week and if you good people wouldn't mind I should like to include them on this forum. Once again they were taken in the late sixties and early seventies.

I won't start posting until someone gives me the okay.

Thank you all once again for your wonderful work !!

Robert.

Hi Robert, It's a pleasure to be of help and has rekindled a few memories for me too. I'm sure the POE sleuths will be willing to have a crack at another few, it makes a pleasant change.
