I've only just seen this thread, but I am so happy to read that little Lydia came through the surgery. Please know that my prayers will continue for her speedy recovery.

Lydia now weighs 6 lbs 5 oz. Not bad at all, considering what she has been through in her first few weeks of her tiny life.

She is recovering well from both her major surgeries, but as you know, she will be having at least one if not more in the next few months.

I'm sure all of your thoughts and prayers are working for her.

Thank you so very much.

Lydia had  surgery last week to repair the esophagus. All was going well until yesterday when she started having probelms. She had a collapsed lung, and a tear where they had repaired the esophagus. They had to do more surgery, filling her little chest up with water, and moving muscle from her stomach and glueing it to her esophagus.

She is all tied up to tubes and respirators and her parents are sick with worry. She is a fighter, but needs our help.

More prayers for all over the world would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Oh Sue! That is so very sad when she has gone through so much already.  I will be praying and thinking about her and for her complete recovery
