The Black Country's not too awfully far from Lancashire.

And hasn't this site inspired you to go a bit further afield?  You're missing out on a mighty pretty country.

We were in Skipton, N. Yorkshire when we were over there and it was only after we got home and I was looking at maps that I saw how close we were to Lancashire.

There, 50 miles, not 20.  If you can make it to Skipton, you can make it to York.

And if you can make it to York, you can make it to Whitby.
