And who did he sing it with? (it was a duet, remember).

PS When I was a small girl, my Uncle used to take us on the train to New York and we would get off the train in Hoboken and take a coach across the Hudson to Manahttan.

i dont think it was a hit as a duet ruth he had a hit with something stupid with nancy in 1967.

my wife and daughter went to n/york for 5 days 3 yrs ago    amazing Smile

Yep, you're right, James.  I stand corrected.  But it was his daughter Nancy that he sang it with, not his wife.

I've not been to NY in over 25 years.  (New York that is, not North Yorkshire.  Was in N. Yorkshire 3 years ago and loved every minute of it.)

Who sang "Unforgettable?"

the wife sings it to me regular ruth and to this day i dont know why-----maybe she got me mixed up with someone else.Laughing

The father-daughter Sinatra question made me think of it.  Natalie Cole covered the song, back in the 80s I think, as a duet with her late father, singing along with his recorded voice.  It's a beautiful song.
