We've been bombarded with so much bad news in the last several months, that it sometimes seems the world really is going to h*** in a handbasket.  But just when you're ready to give up on the world.........

I think there's more of this going on than we realize.  Bout time it makes the news.

I've been teaching my girls to sing Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody !  That and we've decked the house out . The girls wanted to do the outside too . Seeing as theres a blizzard blowing out there I had to draw the line !

Well, hey, y'all, Richard!  Bless my grits, I didn't know you were a Southern boy!  Sorry, I revert sometimes.  I was born and reared in Birmingham, but haven't lived there since 1981.  I'm told I've mostly lost my Southern drawl.

As my employer constantly refuses holidays allowed, I've got several days owing for this year, and the Dec holiday applied for was just refused as well. They've just conceded I can have Xmas Day, Boxing Day, and the weekend as holidays, so will crash out, and set my alarm for the 29th to go back to work.
