I love PG Tips or Yorkshire Tea! I also love Bigelow! I rather would have loose tea over tea bags too.

Is milk and sugar in tea unusual over there?

I believe tea with milk, with or without sugar, is the norm in England.

My father would say, "just enough milk to sweeten it a bit."  He'd always take tea that way, as would his mother.  That's what I knew as the English way.  So (realizing the better ones mentioned by others here are preferable when they can be found) is Tetley the best of the cheaper, grocery store brands?
