About Lytham St Anne's

Set on the beautiful Fylde Coast, close to Blackpool the enchanting resort of Lytham St.Anne's has fortunately retained much of it's sedate Regency atmosphere and many of it's graceful old properties. It also benefits from a slower pace, than it's more lively neighbour.

St. Anne's has a fine sandy beach backed by grassy sand dunes and a fascinating pier, first built in 1885 and subsequently rebuilt and remodelled. The town is famous for its four fine golf courses as well as for being an enjoyable resort for the yachting fraternity. Surrounded by outstandingly beautiful countryside, this is a holiday town to enjoy and explore. It has fascinating reminders of an ancient seafaring past as well as nearby relics of Lancashire's cotton industry.

A few miles away from St.Anne's there is the legendry Forest of Bowland, and further along the coast lies the resort of Southport which has the second longest pier in Britain. If you feel in need of a little more exhilaration, in the Autumn you can take a trip to Blackpool to enjoy a spectacular tour of the world famous illuminations - a thrilling experience of over 500,000 lamps, lights and lasers, combining to create an unforgettable show.

In St.Anne's your holiday can be as peaceful or as hectic as you wish - it has something for everyone, it is truly a place from which you will take many happy memories.
