About The Golden Lion Hotel

The Golden Lion Hotel enjoys a central location in the north Cumbria town of Maryport, overlooking the Solway Firth towards Scotland. Overlooking Maryport harbor, The Golden Lion is around 28 miles from Carlisle, and less than 20 miles from Keswick in the beautiful Lake District. The west Cumbrian towns of Workington, Whitehaven and Egremont are all within a 30-minute drive.
