Born in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. Last lived in Runcorn, Cheshire. Moved to Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 7. Now living in Northwest Territories. Sort of retired from teaching, still a musician, love taking photos on both film and digital cameras.

I've revisited England in 1968, 1985, 1996, 2000, 2004, twice in 2006, 2007, twice in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018. (Other British Isles visits: Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland, and Isle of Man.) My favourite major site: Stonehenge. My favourite manner of visiting: Self-catering cottages in unusual areas.
