And I will be visiting the UK very soon (in less than two weeks, actually). I'm really looking forward to it! I love history and travel; in the past, I've visited Canada, Israel, the Netherlands and Germany, and several US states. I especially love English/British history (even though my background is German and Irish!), so it'll be a treat to visit and photograph UK sights I've only read about. A very dear friend in the USA sent me the link to this wonderful Web site, and I have enjoyed browsing to my heart's content! You have some very talented contributors to PicturesofEngland.com. I only hope I can be worthy to post photos here!! Thank you again for allowing me to join your site. And I look forward to visiting "This Sceptred Isle" very soon.
