Hello, Mick.  I love a good love story and yours sounds wonderful.  Congratulations!  I'm in Phoenix, AZ, but my husband and I spent a wonderful week in North Yorkshire last fall and I have yet to travel to anywhere I like better.  I've only been to Kansas once and that was just driving on I-70 en route from Pennsylvania to Colorado (a long haul).  lol.  I hope you love this wonderful site.  We ended up in N. Yks last year largely due to the photos on this site.  Have a great time here, Mick.

Thanks for that wolf ! I like to throw one of those in now and then just to confuse the locals . Though from the blank looks I get on occasion just talking as normal does the trick !

Not exactly . That was when I was back in England . I was working for Bradford Council at the time . If I remember correctly when that picture was taken I was working cleaning gullies . We would have to dig all kinds of foul smelling muck out of them . It was needless to say a dirty job . Having said that it was a job I enjoyed too . We got to go all over the Bradford area , and got to meet all different kind of people . We even got the occasional cup of tea as you can see !
