Hi! My name is Sherri Whetzel. I have been dreaming of visiting England since I was a child. I am now 41 years old. I am very hopeful that I may be able to visit next year. I am from Arlington, Virginia.  My Grandmother who has now passed away also had the dream to come to England.  Her family was originally from England and we used to talk about it all of time.  Unfortunately, we were never able to do it, but I know she will be with me in spirit when I get there!  I am a complete Anglophile, everything English is of interest to me.  I am glad I found this website.

Forget the last question, I was having a senior moment  .

I have never been to the eastern U.S. other than through airports. I hear it is beautiful.

I've never been to Arlington, but I have worked three summers and part of a winter in WNC (that's western North Carolina for those who haven't been there :-) near Asheville and I have a good friend in Chesterfield, VA! Extremely beautiful in NC, reminds me of the Ozark Moutains in northern Arkansas.

I'm not from England, but welcome anyway! Laughing
