I guess most of you heard the dreadful news yesterday. Tuesday evening a bus full of schoolchildren crashed against a tunnel wall in Switzerland. 28 persons died. 22 of them were  children barely 12 years old. 24 are severely wounded of which three in very critical conditions.

May I ask everybody to pray for those young lives and their relatives.

 God bless them

Yes, as a parent myself I can imagine the sorrow and pain which the families of the dead and injured children are experiencing. The families may be asking 'Why us ?'  It is difficult to find an answer. These tragic accidents touch us all, and it all seems so unfair that young lives are cut short in this way.

I hope that the survivors are getting the best possible medical treatment, and in time they will be able to recover from this tragedy.

If they believe in a benevolent God, I hope that their prayers are answered.

How dreadfully sad and how difficult for the parents, families, school mates and community to have to deal with a tragedy on this scale.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone touched by this dreadful event, and hopes for a speedy and full recovery to those injured!

That is indeed sad... yes, been hearing about it over here. I think it's hard when any child dies. I have felt for an long time now that there seems to be this thing with various forms of child abuse in the world in general that needs removed...as it seems to be higher then the  just the calling of the people involved these days. We need to really protect them...but in this case, most likely that was being done anyway...tragic accident indeed. Prayers given.

What an awful tragedy.

I had not heard about this before you post, Patrick. My thoughts and prayers for all left weeping.

Today is a day of national mourning. At 11 am Belgian time there will be a minute of silence.

The only good news is, that the wounded are getting better.
