I have always looked forward to the beginning of September,, here  in the Rockie  Mts., Fall comes quick, yet it does like to linger till the first snows,

Leaves, Fireplaces, friends around the table , sharing stories with a cuppa (or a pint) the colours,

Knowing the holidays are on their way, Autumn just makes nature's colours  and ones spirit soar..

Sounds heavenly! I couldn't have said it better. I love the autumn but I have to confess, I am not ready for it yet. The winter here was so long and brutal. I need more summer!

I don't mind Autumn but I'm in agreement with Diana, I want to see a few more weeks of summer.

And leaves, they drive me bonkers, we are surrounded by trees, none of them ours.

Autumn is my favorite season! Living in the Michigan woods, the changing colors are spectacular from every window in our house. This Autumn, I'll be spending part of it in the UK doing some research for another book that I am writing! I can hardly wait to cross the Pond . . .
