  Jamaica Inn, high up and in the centre of Bodmin Moor famous because of the book bearing it's name. The drawback is of course many many tourists call here to pay homage and crowd the gift shop to buy that something from Jamaica Inn. However , stay the night after all the grockles have gone and the place takes on a different persona, just beware of the ghosts ! If your night is not disturbed by a visitation, just the thought of such an visitation will keep you awake. We did not see any on our stay of 2 or 3 nights.Inn on the Moor

Yes, in fact there are pictures of the 'Bird and Baby' aka The Eagle and Child in St Giles, Oxford on POE.
