Hi Ruth,

Thanks Ruth for your comments. I am hoping to do some sketching over the Christmas period on th Isle of Skye, 'the place where Bonnie Prince Charlie fled to, being chased by the English'. I will be taking some photos and maybe doing a bit of painting in the New Year. It all depends how many wee drams (whisky) I have. That, and playing the pipes may take up a lot of my time. The avatar is a still taking from an animated pheasant which shows the bird being plucked, (Another painting of mine) but some people may take offence if I tried to explain it.

Hi Richard,

That's the first time that I've been offered a drink by email and I don't sip the hard stuff, in fact, I prefer Irish Whiskey, but I will enjoy drinking yours, Cheers!! By the way, did you know that 'Glenfiddich' means 'Valley of the Deer'?

Regards

John
