Wow, the difference here in 3 hours! It's blowing a gale, really strong winds although sun still shining now and again...

Here in Oxford a blue sky, sun shining and light winds. Cooler through the nights now but Autumn is approaching so why not? It's still beautiful here in Oxford, England.

Amazingly my runner beans are flowering better now than they did earlier in the year, but I suspect the frost will get them before they bear fruit!

Blue sky, slight winds, unusually wonderful in the garden, although lots to do now to clear up after the fruit has 'fruited' and the vegetables have well, umm, err vegetated?

C'mon CathyML tell me what the American Supreme Court has decided! Lol

This refers to a conversation in a thread yesterday Ruth regarding tomato's and runner beans. Fruit or vegetables?

According to CathyML the ASC ruled!

Weather today - in a word - brutal!  Fall has most definitely decided to hold off for a while.  There's a huge high pressure system parked over the SW United States and that means no cloud, no wind, no humidity, just sunshine.  And it's still high enough in the sky to make it 110°F today.  This morning I went outside at 7:00 and it was 72°F and it was 92°F by 9:30.  I wish I was in Old Blighty.....
