About Black Burn Lodge B & B

Black Burn Lodge B&B has a selection of attractive bed and breakfast accommodations in the Scottish Borders, around 25 miles north of Carlisle. Located just to the west of Northumberland National Park, the house was designed and built by the owner, and features a delightful garden, terrace and conservatory. The spacious rooms at Black Burn Lodge B&B all have a TV, large wardrobes, hairdryers, fluffy robes and toiletries, as well as free WiFi. There is a family room with large private bathroom with both a bath and walk-in shower and two more double rooms with a luxury en suite walk-in shower room. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the ground-floor breakfast room, or out on the terrace in fine weather. For lunch in the area, the village of Newcastleton is home to a lively café and bakery with fresh bread and coffee, as well as a café /restaurant serving light meals. The village is surrounded by hills and woodlands, and Black Burn Lodge’s owner Michael is a keen walker and mountaineer, who will be happy to share his local knowledge. Newcastleton also has a golf course, mountain biking trails and its waters offer scenic spots for salmon and trout fishing.
