The northern slopes of Catbells very much foreshortened by the equivalent of around 200mm. What you see here is not the summit, that is still quite a hike further on and upwards! As Martin inferred on a previous image, must be amongst one of the most photographed sights in the Lake District, probably because of the ease of access to view.More pictures of Derwentwater by Dave John

Now that's a stunner Dave, also like how the water leads you to the hill and then the track continues the journey.
Great sense of scale with this one Dave I would love to give that trail a crack one day.
