I am 68 years old and retired. I was born in Gravesend in Kent and on leaving school I joined the Merchant Navy, where I developed my passion for photography. After seven years at sea I swallowed the anchor and joined the Police in Bradford, where I still live. I served in the Police for 30 years, 26 of which were spent as a Scenes of Crime Officer, where my love of photography followed a different route, the majority of my photographs being not to everyone's taste. After retiring I was able to immerse myself in my hobbies, photography (obviously),walking and visiting places of interest and beauty and of course my two grandchildren.
