Not that easy John, I know Wembley Stadium opened in 1923, but that's not built, and I wouldn't say it was 1000 feet above sea level.

The other one I was thinking of which we saw in Scotland, was the Commando Monument, that's probably the right height above sea level (or maybe too high even) but I just checked and the date is all wrong.

So can we say Kent or Derbyshire then 

is it the sherwood foresters war memorial in the village where the national tram museum is(cant think of its name but can remember its near matlock)
