Prince Charles

As much as I liked Princess Diana, I really think Charles got a bad rap. He was as much a prisoner of his life as she was.

I'm not embarrassed to admit to liking Prince Charles. I think under the circumstances, he's a good guy, and I hope he makes King one day. Diana was a good person, but she was a little .....ah.... let's say blonde.

I think Prince Charles has his heart in the right place. You can't expect him to be like 'the people' his upbringing made sure that he would never, or could never be like us. His boys are a different story I think.

I agree with you Sue.  Diana was lovely, but she was young, and inexperienced, and came with a whole heep of emotional baggage that Charles just didn't know how to handle.

Charles had his own problems too. I am sure that given the freedom and the choice to marry whom he wanted he never would have ended up with Diana.  That marriage was decided for him.

I'm guessing he'll stand aside when the time comes, and let William be King instead, as William V I suppose?

If only he had been able to marry Camilla when at the very beginning, much pain would have been saved.

I'm thinking the Royals have learnt a lesson there.

I'm getting off topic. I had better tell myself off.

Getting back on topic, I'm embarrassed to admit to being lazy.  I have my day very structured, none of this bored housewife for me. But sometimes I just don't do everything on the list.

I have a long list today, so we shall see.
