The magpie should of been left for food for other birds/animals.

Now i'm gonna get it

I live near Muncaster Castle and they have an owl sanctuary, and these birds rely on mice/rodents/birds etc.

I don't want to sound like I don't care, I do, but it's nature, isnt it!

I agree with Karen, maybe if people who abuse the emergency services are made to pay for calling them out then calls like that one would stop. I can’t believe the operator though, I have called the ambulance service out quite allot to the home where I work when patients have a fall or are taken ill and the operator always takes so much information, with the questions they ask it would soon become obvious if I was talking about anything other than a human being.

Yeah it's not bad at all Jason, very clean and friendly although I have worked in some pretty awful homes over the years, we have a brilliant cook and her cakes are amazing.

Karen -  your last post on this thread did make me laugh, I know what you mean though, I do love animals, at times more than I do people lol but your right, it is nature and survival of the fittest.

If he was so concerned about the bird why didn't he drive it to the vets himself - I've done that lots of times. I would never call and ambulance out if it wasn't an emergency. Still he got what he wanted - his 5 minutes of fame!
