I thought the weather forecast was better than you've had Dave, but that's the Lakes, it has it's own micro climate. Hope it's better for you tomorrow, but I know you'll enjoy yourself anyway. Have one for me in the Rule Smile

Not bought that yet!! But there is a place in the courtyard 'my' cottage is in that is undergoing major refit and I understand that may be going for 'lomg term' rental. So for what it is worth gonna speak with them during the week. Probably noting will come of it but won't know unless I ask.

Today's load of rubbish will follow a bit later.  Did actually get a good walk in but as last 2 days light for decent photos was very poor. So don't go holding your breath for many submission after I get home.

Like you say Dave, if you don't ask you won't know, sounds like a great idea, but I'm wondering how much a long term rent in Ambleside would cost. Pricey I expect.

Look forward to your rambings later, shame about the light for the photos, but at least it's not pouring down.

Enjoy your drink in the Rule this evening, I assume you'll be paying them a visit Smile

NO!!! John does confirm that it was received and that a LOT of folk commented on it, which is good. But he seems to have lost control of where it isUndecided Reckon someone has borrowed it and nor brought it back. Bit of a bummer but at least it has been seen
