We had 8 or 9 inches of rain yesterday in some spots, and today it's cool, cloudy, damp and very windy, with the promise of sunshine later in the day. My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions

Last night it was flash flood watch, and finally today we went and picked up sandbags, so hopefully no more flooding in our garage and by our front door. Today we have a nice steady rain, which is very unusual, but very welcome. And of course, typical of high desert Nevada, we were in the high 90's last week and today in the low 50's. There is also a winter snow warning for the mountains. We go from one extreme to another so quickly. My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions

The weather here in Oxford has been quite wonderful today with blue skies, no wind and no rain despite the forecast, but when do they ever get the weather forecast right?
