Set in the small fishing town of Oban, Corran House Hostel is made up of two buildings in a Victorian terrace with scenic views across the bay to the Isle of Kerrera and the hills of Mull. A TV is featured in all rooms at Corran. Most have private bathroom facilities, and some have sea views. A spacious and fully-equipped shared kitchen is available for guests’ use, with seating for 20 people. Towels are provided in all rooms, but must be hired at a GBP 1 fee per towel in the dormitories. A large range of malt whiskeys, bar meals, and a big-screen TV with Sky are featured in the on-site bar, which overlooks the sea. There is also a pool table and an adjacent patio area. Guests can enjoy a 10% discount when dining in the hostel's bar, Markie Dans. Oban town center is a 10-minute walk from the hostel, and features the Oban Distillery and McCaig's Tower. St Columba's Cathedral is less than a 5-minute walk away. Glencruitten Golf Course is 1 miles away, and is nestled among the hills of Glencruitten Estate.
