Dellwood Hotel is set on the main road into Campbeltown. Set In its own grounds and 5 minutes’ walk from the town center, the family-run Dellwood has a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. All Rooms feature en suite shower rooms, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms are spacious and have wardrobes and luggage racks, with the family room able to accommodate a cot if required. Breakfast is served each morning from 7.30 to 9.30, and can be earlier if requested. The hotel restaurant serves home-cooked meals each evening, with packed lunches also available. Campbeltown is known for its history of whiskey production, and has a museum and heritage center, as well as a small art deco cinema. The town’s airport is 9 minutes’ drive and operates flights to Glasgow. From April until the end of September, there is a weekend ferry service from Ardrossan to Campbeltown.
