Ascott-under-Wychwood

Ascott-under-Wychwood lies in the Evenlode Valley and is the smallest of the three Wychwood villages. Wychwood refers to the royal ancient forest of Wychwood where Tudor monarchs would go hunting. Ascott is Saxon for East Homestead.
