The traditional pint is, like the British pub, unique to our culture. I took this candid shot whilst enjoying lunch in a J.D.Wetherspoon pub not far from the railway station in Huddersfield. It was taken on 7th December 2012, but I hope it has a timeless feel. 1/13th sec (hand held) F5.6 ISO 800, lens zoomed to 98mm.

My congratulations , you took decent , sharp image in difficult conditions .
It's a really good shot Rod, I especially like the use of selective colour.
Nice one Rod
Excellent sharpness for 1/13 sec at 98mm, I like the colour of the beer in the otherwise monochrome setting
Yes, I love the selective colour............
I like this Rod .. different... well done
Great shot Rod, often selective colouring looks a bit of a cliché, however you have done a brilliant job. Wish I had taken it!
A cracking shot Rod, well held at such a slow speed and the processing superb
A superb shot technically telling a equally superb statement.
An excellent shot with a narrative of its own. The retained colour is very effective. The man's pose and the empty glass suggest he may be here for some time.
