Description

British Wildlife comes to Town.

Taken this evening at about 8:30 these two had just been chased out of our garden by a neighbours cat and were playing hide and seek in the courtyard. The urban fox is getting very brave and making themselves at home in amongst humans (some do put out food and that can encourage them). The shot was grabbed when they stopped to check me out, alas the light was on it's way down and this was a shot taken very quickly hand held and the shutter time of 1/15 with quite a bit of zoom did result in a not so sharp shot but I liked the pose of these two so here you are.

Super composition Vince, but sadly lacking in sharpness as you say (this is not meant unkindly, at 250 mm with a 1.6X crop and 1/15 sec it is very good, but it's the sort of shot that really needs a fast lens I can only dream about).

Fantastic shot Vince, we used to have a family living in the land just in front of the house. Sadly someone bought the land to build on and the foxes have moved on.
