Oh Zbigniew, memories come flooding back- how much I enjoyed Santa Pod in the mid seventies even though the speeds and elapsed times were nothing in comparison to the times of today. Crikey , back then Denis Priddle was still running a slingshot and his only real competion was Clive Skilton but it was still an electric time. Used to work with a fellow surveyor who lived in Carlton very near to the Pod and in those days was able to wander in over the fields to the pit area. Standing in the corrugated roofed stand at the head of the track was something else with the sound reverberating , the smells and smoke from the burn outs and the vibrations just going straight through you was just magic ! Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane.

A distinctive vehicle and a nice bit of panning gives a sense of speed
