Surrounded by evergreens and cedar trees, Kingsthorpe cemetery along the A508 road to Market Harborough is one of the largest cemeteries in the town of Northampton.
Among its hundreds of graves is the last resting place of Violet Gibson, who attempted to assassinate the Fascist Italian leader, Benito Mussolini. Lucia Joyce, the daughter of the novelist, James Joyce, is also buried in the cemetery.
