I took this on 17th March 2014 not really expecting the tide to be so high. A walk on the beach was impossible but I did notice one of the Iron Men stoic in his resolve to face the waves of the incoming tide and the way the water was swirling around him. I attached my 70-300 lens and took three shots, before retreating from the biting wind. This one pleased me the most.More pictures of Crosby by Rod Burkey...

I really like this one Rod, I've yet to see these impressive figures. You got the tide just at the right point with this shot.

An outstanding shot of something different. The swirling water looks almost like a whirlpool, but it is the breaking wave which makes the picture special.
