Iron Man facing the tide at Crosby

I took this on 17th March 2014 not really expecting the tide to be so high. A walk on the beach was impossible but I did notice one of the Iron Men stoic in his resolve to face the waves of the incoming tide and the way the water was swirling around him. I attached my 70-300 lens and took three shots, before retreating from the biting wind. This one pleased me the most.

An outstanding shot of something different. The swirling water looks almost like a whirlpool, but it is the breaking wave which makes the picture special.
