About Lower Halstow

Lower Halstow is wonderful historic village in Kent, on the banks of the Medway Estuary. It has a long history, with evidence suggesting it was inhabited during Roman times and possibly dating back to the Iron Age.
It has a wonderful church, St. Margaret, which dates back to the 9th century, and the one remaining public house in the village is called 'The Three Tuns' which dates back to 1468 when it was built.
