Description

The Tower of London and Traitor's Gate

Started by William the Conqueror and added to many times over the years, this landmark has housed crowned heads (it's removed a few of those too), and notorious criminals. Traitor's Gate, visible in the river wall, used to be the way in. For many there was no way out.
