Walking up to zero degrees longitude we climbed to a vantage point and turned round. It is possible to see London stretched out from the Ghirkin on the left, the River Thames and the former Greenwich Hospital (the Old Royal Naval College and now the University of Greenwich) in the centre and the Millenium Dome on the right. Meantime the Observatory was our goal at the top of the hill.
