Description

Rydal Water Wall

A lovely bit of dry stone wall jutting out into Rydal Water at the western end of Rydal Woods just before leaving the woods for the shoreline path towards Grasmere. As you can see quite clearly it was another of those wet days that I seem so lucky to encounter with amazing regularity

Yes I can see the rain on the water, very nicely caught reflections despite the rain.

Err ? if that is a dry stone wall why is it sitting in water and being a wet stone wall? But whatever theoretical question we ask- It is still a cracking shot.

Still under the trees at this point John, otherwise keep it under my fleece or jacket unless it gets quite wet in which case it goes in the backpack and i carry on walking and i get wet !!!
