St Mary Magdalene Church, Aldestrop

An interesting 18th century church with connections with Jane Austen, who visited on 3 occassions - in 1794, 1799, and 1806. She was related to Reverend Thomas Leigh from the village and would have worshipped here. The chancel arch in the church dates to the 13th century.
