It was inspired by the closure of the Court in late 2010 and its accompanying historical interest. The judiciary has now transferred to a new building opened by the Queen in March 2011 at Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The image was painted in 2010 and depicts the start of another working day at the Crown Court.
