Bamburgh Castle

Bamburgh has recently (June 2010) been voted as Englands best holiday area. I can well understand why - Castle, beaches, views, roads with little traffic. It's terrific.

Looking Northwards from the top of Bamburgh Castle the buildings look small and the Scottish hills on the horizon look nearer
