The Village

The Ministry of Defence seized the little hamlet during WWII for training purposes. They promised to return it at the end of hostilities but of course they never did. Although it is a very peaceful place, one can't help but feel sad that the residents were forced to leave such a tranquil spot

The School

The school has been restored. The blackboard has details of the wildflowers that can be seen when you visit

The Church

The little Church is also intact, and the surrounding graveyard is meticulously tended
