The boat shed is at the bottom of a rack linking it to the building up above. Visitors can (thankfully!) get there by descending about 200 very steep steps

This is the active station near Church Cove. In the event of a "shout", the lifeboatmen are transported down the track to the boat shed at the bottom of the cliff
