Mrs Smith's Cottage

Mrs Smith's Cottage

Mrs. Smith's cottage is an early Victorian house where Mrs Smith lived independently until she was 102 years old. It is now preserved as a museum where guided tours are given round this tiny two bedroomed cottage with a step ladder to the upstairs bedrooms! It is a fascinating place to visit.

Shady corner in Mrs Smith's garden

This bright yellow flower stood out in a shady corner in the garden. Mrs Smith was a very keen gardener and the garden has been retained by volunteers to look just as it was in the days when she lived there.
