Lendalfoot is a small coastal village in South Ayrshire which overlooks the Firth of Clyde and the distinctive island of Ailsa Craig which was formed from the volcanic plug of a long extinct volcano. The island, known locally as Paddy's Milestone, is now uninhabited but was once the source of granite used to make curling stones. It is also a sanctuary for gannets and puffins.

Excellent , wonderful colours David
A fantastic picture, beautifully captured David
This is a superb picture, depth of colour, sharpness, the sky- I could go on. The Island adds a touch of the surreal- like this one a lot.
Fabulous shot. The light is perfect on the fields. Beautiful bright areas. really lifts it
Beautiful view across the fields and out to the Craig David well done.
A wonderful peaceful scene, very well balanced!
You have posted many superb shots but many of them appear over saturated for my liking. Makes you think this can't be real. However I'm sure many will love them.
Great picture love the colours well done
