A bit difficult to find, as it is tucked away off the main road, We made the mistake (as no doubt countlesss other travellers have done) of driving up to the entrance of the new Inverlochy Castle which is a luxury hotel! However, once located this is worth a visit: not as extensive as other ruins nor as splendidly located, but even though a little neglected, perhaps a little forlorn, it remains proud and defiant.
